Introducing a suave new residence perched above the shores of Chinamans Beach. The Cyprian explores the notion of structure as finish and sustainability through longevity. We selected materials and construction methodologies that are born of age-old crafts to ensure the built form is here for generations to come. From the impressive foundation of rammed earth bookending expressed roman face bricks, to the moody charred cladding known as Shou Sugi Ban, the house has been designed to be a modern yet timeless oasis framing the lives of a large extended family.
